64K Skywards Points - How to use
 

I am Skywards Gold Tier member with 64K miles. Would like to know what are my best options for redemption.
I am based out of India, so I have to take India to Dubai flight for sure to take anything else. My simple search on emirate.com for buying economy ticket for Dubai, take so many money as surcharge that my points are only paying 25% of total fare. Is the redemption rate better for Dubai to Europe flights or a longer flight like India to Europe might be better option.

Tried buying stuff on emirates online shopping but the customs cost looks to be exorbitant.

Is rocketmiles hotel booking a good option? How good is transferring miles to Marriott works out? I am already a Platinum Elite in Marriott. Bottomline, what is an average redemption value I should aim for?

Your best bet is an upgrade from Economy to Business. A Saver fare would be 47.5K points each way (I'm looking at HYD-DXB). A better option would be a Flex fare, as that is 31K points, so you could get a return for the points you have.

Just India to DXB upgrade will eat half your miles but you could upgrade India to DXB to Europe all tofetoge for under 64k miles on a Y Flex ticket
