stopovers on F awards?
 
I'm looking to fly JFK-DXB (stopover) DXB-SIN

When I use the advance multi-city search, the system is showing me J availability as one award, but not F availability.

If I price the two flights separately, award space is available in F.

Does Emirates allow stopovers on awards in J but not F?

Stopovers in all classes are available if I am not mistaken. Have done It before, but I think they calculate it was 2 different sectors in terms of mileage redemption.

bumping this. Does anyone have a clear answer as I need to book some flights. Can I book JFK-DXB-SIN with a stopover for 178750 miles?

I see no reason why a stopover would not be allowed as I think the fare conditions are similar to Flex+ (Looking at the awards calculator)
Best thing to do is call the call centre and ask them to book it for you. There of course needs to be Z bucket availability on both sectors.

I got contradictory answers. Thus FT is the tiebreaker :-)

When you called? If you got an agent saying it's possible just book with them on the spot

Chat said yes. Phone said no.

Still searching for dates and have to do an AMEX transfer top off.... Also waiting to see (although I assume not likely) if there are any transfer bonuses in the next couple weeks.

Award availability will vary based on segments, they are probably applying married segment logic to awards as well so as Skywardhunter said call back and book it if you can't do it online.
