Gold renewal query
 

My tier renewal was in February, and I did not make the cut, but was given two months to enjoy gold privileges. The Skywards dashboard says I can qualify for Gold if I clock 22000 miles by April 30th, and I've re-arranged my travel so that I get these tier miles by 1st May. (Completing the journey at 1915 hrs IST on the 1st)

Any clue if I will be given Gold status despite missing the date by ~18 hours?

Probably not, and if you ask they'll say no, but on the day/after the miles credit it may be worth checking. FWIW if your 28k tier miles were earned after 1 May you'd still only need 22k by end of may. The EK website doesn't do a good job of displaying this. You need 50k in a year, kinda simple, just look at your statement, it has a nice monthly calendar view situation going on.

There've been a lot of threads, especially recently, around this topic, please do a search as there is a lot of knowledge already shared around this and its better to not unnecessarily start new threads, but rather post in the existing one.

Thanks for the info. I realise there is no straight way of figuring this out before hand and planning it if it's done the last minute. Will also try the Skywards desk at the DXB lounge.

And sorry about the repeat threads, I know there have been some threads about this, but I couldn't get the keywords right to narrow down on the info I wanted.
