is this a definite location? Reason for asking is I’m considering booking a room there to assist my 20 hour jet lagged layover from NYC rather than schlepping back and forth and disturbing my friend!! Don’t want to miss the fun and, more importantly, my 0350 flight home!

is this a definite location? Reason for asking is I’m considering booking a room there to assist my 20 hour jet lagged layover from NYC rather than schlepping back and forth and disturbing my friend!! Don’t want to miss the fun and, more importantly, my 0350 flight home!
As mentioned, it's subject to confirmation, if there are no serious objections over the next week or so we'll confirm it, but I'd say so, and it would definitely be within 2-3km of the Burj Khalifa I'd say, to keep it central. Cabs are easy in DXB anyway (and surprisingly affordable) so if you need to book now go ahead. I also need to book a hotel near the Do venue, though with a 9am flight the next morning not sure if that's necessary....

Thanks. Doubt there will be any objections if M3red recommends! Think will take a chance. Am going to call tomorrow to see if I can book a room with check in at 0900. Will be leaving at midnight so you are welcome to use the room after that if you need a quick nap!
