Mixed Group on EK - Y class passenger with J/F class passengers

Mixed Group on EK - Y class passenger with J/F class passengers
Has anyone had a situation where they were travelling in J/F with another person in Y and managed to spend some time with the other passenger? Out of curiosity has anyone been able to convince the purser for the Y passenger to spend time in the A380 bar or in the F cabin? (Perhaps if the bar was empty and didn't disrupt other passengers as I can imagine this would cause some annoyance..)
Or did you just keep separate?
Curious if anyone had some good experiences or conversely had a horror story about other passengers attempting/doing this?

For some people it's all of the above, including the food, PDB, and service.
Sharing the same bus at DXB maybe?
