Skywards Gold flying F requesting limo at non-chauffeur origin (Kuala Lumpur)

Hi guys, I'm flying from Kuala Lumpur to JFK next week.

Unfortunately Emirates don't offer chauffeur pickup in Kuala Lumpur (airport is 55km from the city).

Since I'm skywards gold and flying F, do you think I can call them up and politely ask them to provide a complimentary transfer?

Cars are cheap as heck here, and it seems remiss that they wouldn't bend over to provide a $20 ride.

Thoughts and experiences?

Unless you are an I/O, have CIP next to your name on the manifest or you're working for EK in some consultancy or management capacity, they won't help you. If either of those latter two things are true, then P.R will help you.

You can probably stretch to the $20 yourself. They won't make concessions for regular pax regardless of travel class or tier below plat.

I agree - zero chance. Gold isn’t a high status with EK and there are tens of thousands of them so why would they make an exception for another F gold passenger? Ek are so process - if it’s not operational and in plan it can rarely happen unless you are as rightly pointed out above CIP or IO.

youll have to walk upstairs to the taxi rank or better still get a hotel car/meet and great services - that’s what I do when EK fail to offer services I want.

there's nothing wrong with being in the back, with 4 empty seats in middle row I can sleep very well and stretch out , I've done that on many many occasion.
