What's your favourite seat? Y/J/F

Do you have a regular seat that is your go to? What is it and why?

Here's mine:

Y A388: 51G: Aisle Access, I can stand behind the chair and still watch TV if I need to stretch my legs
J A388: 7K: Quietest, probably most private, deplane first.
J B77W: 6A/K BUT only if I have 6B or 6J free. I have to confirm it at the airport and 2/3 times) they kindly block the seat for me.

Don't take them from me.

77W Y: 19 or 20A or K, or on flights under 4hrs C or J. Near the front, recline, and aisle access on shorter flights is better, while on longer flights I rather sleep and disturb the neighbours if I need to get out

A380 F. 2K. Avoid Row 1 but the rest seem the same.
A380 J. 23A or K (20 on two class) probably most private.
A380 Y. 45D. Extra legroom to the side of the stairs. Downside is it's a bassinet row.

B777 F. Never tried.
B777 J. 7J. Smaller cabin feels more private.
B777 Y. Always try for an exit row, failing that 39H. Near galley for top ups. No ICE box under seat in front.

Slightly OT, but can/does EK block seats for status pax? Was told rather rudely in HKG "we don't block seats for anyone". On the other hand, departing MXP, I think the staff proactively moved others so I could have the row to myself in Y. I know this because I was checking the seat maps right until the flight closed and the 2 seats next to me were both occupied (Y mini-cabin on 77W), it was a relatively full flight but still a few spare seats.

A380: 44J/K lower deck

I want to contribute, but on the other hand, I don't want you guys to take my seat :s

I prefer sitting at the rear most cabins of Y and J.

F, 1A on a 77W or 2A/K or 3A/K on a A380.

Not officially - maybe a bored station will do it, but probably not at a busy one.

Of course, asking in the lounge or at check-in works wonders!

A380/77W F - 2A/K
A380 J - 7A/K and back to 15 A/K (first meal service section), not a big fan of the mini cabin due to bar and engine noise
77W J 2-Class - 9B/D/F/J/K
77W J 3-Class - No real preference, as long as I'm not in the front mini-cabin, I don't like mini cabins (the 77W has a huge air handler system in the aft part of the first cabin between doors 1 and 2, super loud)

A380 2/3k or 2 e/f - I’ll avoid 1a/1k at all costs!

23 e/f or if alone 11k

77w really no difference to me between row 1 or 2 - usually e/f with Mrs m3red

77w j - 7j and k

What is the downfall of row 1 on the 380? Smaller due to curvature of the fuselage, or??

Yes, that's the main thing. Also some reports of light/noise pollution from the First bar area at the top of the stairs.
