So with the exception of SCL no new major route launches this year, I know there was STN and then EDI in October but they are new airports / cities in already served countries

No increase in the number of weekly flights, but AC did upgrade the route from a 787 to 777.

EK348/349 CMB-SIN to be cancelled from 27th October

Did EK 229 get switched to a 772? I just flew 229 on the 773 a few months ago in F. If it did switch, is it temporary?

EK229 DXB-SEA has been operated by a 77L (777-200LR) since 26/08/18. Not all 77L aircraft have been changed to two Class yet. This is expected to be completed by mid 2019 according to the press release.

It does look like the flight has been operated by 2 Class aircraft for the past week (A6-EWA, EWB, EWH, EWI) according to FR24. Can’t find any reference if this is a temporary change or not.

EK614/615 was scheduled to be upgraded from 2-class 77W to A388 after 29th October, but due to EK and local CAA not being able to come to an agreement on the frequency of flights, it has been cancelled.

All flights to and from ISB will continue being operated by B77Ws.
