Upgrade offer - Yes or no?

Ok... Need some input here :-)

I have done both EK Business and First, so I know what to expect, but

I am flying CPH-MRU shortly, and I have just received the upgrade offer - EK have offered euro 939,- to upgrade both outbound legs from Y to C...

Would you take it?

Personally, no, but it's a decent offer.

I wouldn't pay that much having already paid for an economy ticket

I’d do it also, particularly if this is a vacation or a special occasion. The Y to C difference is pretty big and this time of year you might expect a full load to Mauritius. Maybe check the load? For what it is worth the premium cabin crews to MRU always seem to be great. May have something to do with the beach hotel they get to stay at after the flight! Also a visit to the Champagne bar in DXB during the layover might help me decide. Don’t forget you can buy your way in if you decide to stay in Y.

This sounds like a special upgrade offer, thus likely excludes lounge access

On that the note then , i would really consider it. If you can truly afford it finically then go for it , if not or unsure then stay clear imo.

I'd take it as indeed the Y-C gap is huge.

If such offer is sent, the load is probably not that heavy ...

If you don't take it then you'll be in Y. Just remember that.
