Emirates has unveiled the new first class cabin for their 777s at the Dubai Air Show on November 12th, 2017.
Notably, the new F cabin is fully enclosed from floor to ceiling, has a reduction from 8 seats to 6 total, had virtual windows for the center cabins and features video-based room service ordering.
Business and Economy cabins have also been refreshed, but not completely overhauled.

I don't think GLA is more likely to get the new F than any other 777 destination that doesn't currently get it looking through the recent movements of the 9 relevant frames. There has basically been only one rotation (or a couple in some cases) that has been on new F/J for a variety of outstations that already get 777s, presumably based on maximizing utilization with no particular pattern that I can discern. I can guarantee GLA won't be getting the new F between 16th April and 31st May for obvious reasons also...

As mentioned in another thread, if you look at the seat map you can see, if F is 1-1-1 then it is new. However only a handful of aircraft have new F (fewer than 6 I think) and they only fly to Europe and Japan right now, so the default assumption should always be that you'll get old F

So I just received a notification of seat change, and I just probably jinxed myself, but my leg from DXB-MLE in July is now showing a cabin with 6 F seats. This was made known to me after I called in and got told the seats were changed due to an aircraft change. I was thinking there's no way they would change to a 380, and the CSR told me it's a 777-300 ER.
I just checked EF, and sure enough the seat map shows 6 seats in F. Wondering if this is a temporary change or the next route to get the new cabin?
