seat 1a and 1 e are next to each other

1k does not have a neighbor across the aisle, nor does 2A.

2E and 2 F are next to each other also across an aisle if that makes sense.

It was planned to give the new First to EK53/54 to München as beginning of July, but now EK44/45 to Frankfurt has the new First Class.

So some of the 777’s some days have the old product? Because I’m being allowed to redeem AS award miles in September and October on MUC-DXB on the 10:35am departure on the 777-300. And I look on expertflyer and obviously both configurations have 6 seats so I cannot tell which is the new configuration and which is not. Guess I’ll just stick to the A380.

PS just realized the new configuration has 6 seats not 8.

as explain by FT101, if there are 6 seats, it is the new F class.

The old F class has 8 seats.

I just checked seat maps in September and October for EK54 (MUC - DXB), they still have the old F with 8 Seats than. Sure, that still could change

The middle seats are staggered - one to the left and accessed from the left aisle, one to the right accessed from the right aisle. Does that sound easier to understand?

Are they not introducing the new F into MUC? I’m on EK 54 on Oct 1, and it’s the old 777. I happen to have to be in Munich so whatever... but I bought the new F thinking I was getting the new product.

They planned to introduce the new First in München on 1th July, but than they changed it to Frankfurt.

Is this confirmed? I did not see any blog post or announcement. Also why did they decide to change? Any chance I can hope for an equipment swap?

Emirates Will Offer New First Class To Munich As Of July 1, 2018: https://onemileatatime.boardingarea.com/2018/02/14/emirates-new-first-class-munich/

There was no official announcement for the change to Frankfurt. Maybe they need more First Class seats at München because many Tourists from Dubai visit München during the summer.

I asked onemileatatime and they said that emirates decided to change to Frankfurt on the new first class which is kind of bizarre considering they haven’t made a write up about it on the blog. Not to mention nobody has talked about Emirates switching the new first class from Munich to Frankfurt, but that’s what the seatmaps seem to be saying.

Heres to hoping for an aircraft change.
