Found two unloved bottles in the F lounge at Concourse A this lunchtime.

My apologies for leaving only one behind...

Jealous!! I'd argue that having these on the ground is an even bigger treat because your sniffer works properly... in the air things get really out of balance sometimes. The high notes (red fruit mostly) get accentuated and the tannins become a bit stronger, imo.

Anyone see any Opus One 2007 on the ground?

Also.. DP 2006 vs DP2009... I prefer 2006. More linear, floral. 2009 is weighty and toasty.

I fully agree.

Even though I love rummaging through the chillers in the F lounge [and how many pax do this?] - a more proactive approach to "offering" premium wines would be welcome IMHO.

First Class food is so much better on the ground - but wine and spirits are far better in the air.

I'd love the whole F product to be more consistent.

Apologies if answered already:

Is there any way to request the champagne from the J lounge whilst dining in the F lounge? Or would popping down there be the only way to sample the Moet 'nectar imperial' ?

thank you.
