Had it for the first time recently, it wasn't bad. But it's definitely better suited for a nightclub rather than an airline First Class cabin.
As much as EK loves the gold bling, I don't think we'll ever see Ace of Spades onboard!

if you compare to dom, comtes, krug, lpgs - it’s not a comparison. As I said MMI has a lot of stock because it’s grossly overpriced for what it is. Will never be on ek.

Just looking at the wine list for my DXB - BNE flight later this month:

https://www.emirates.com/au/english/......=firstclass

There's five whites and three reds listed in F.

Only Penfolds RWT Shiraz 2011/12 is listed as a F only red wine.

Do you think there'll be more reds on the actual inflight menu? There's also no white dessert wine.

There will be - if you look at the same flight for tomorrow (2nd Feb) you'll see 4 still whites and 6 reds plus one dessert wine with the Dom. The list on your flight later in the month will almost certainly be the same.

Thanks! The reds are all a little disappointing for an F menu though some of them are very nice drops all the same!

I've got a 9h transit in DXB. Will find a good red to go with the steak!

Is any of the F lounges in DXB known to have better wines? Or luck of the draw in any given day?

Relatedly, any good finds recently?

Luck of the draw (although it takes about 2-3 months to cycle through in my experience) - but FCL C21 is easiest to see the whole collection available there as there's only two fridges, unlike B and worse, A, where it will be long walk to make sure you've seen everything.
