EK mistakenly responds to customer complaint email with f-word response

Claire Finch applied for the statutory €600 in compensation through the Resolver website. Her application was successful, but shortly after sending through the confirmation an Emirates customer-service representative sent a second email with the subject line “W t f …”.

Seems like a basic mistake, obviously intended to be sent to a colleague, not really much to talk about. Anyone who thinks call center employees aren't swearing at us on the other side of the phone lines is naive.

Yes, most likely. At least a written warning, certainly. Still I wouldn't really hold the use of such language internally against them, they're also just Human. I work in IT and can attest to the fact that users (or in this case customers) are d**ks

I imagine your 'users' (or in this case customers) speak equally well of you, too, skywardhunter

Losing your job because you swore in an email that you sent to a customer - to be expected: standard stuff.
Put on a UAE blacklist for swearing?
You'd have to fire most of the expat population, even though "swearing, profanities, insults and all kinds of vulgar language" are strictly forbidden in Dubai according to the Code of Conduct.
Also, not queuing is illegal...
