time for a dumb question
 
If i have silver status on Emirates and am taking a flight on Eva Air from HKG to TPE on a Y class ticket, can I use the EK lounge in HKG, based on my status ?

Nope, only EK operated/coded flights. I think you could use the HKG lounge if travelling on QF as well.

Only if Gold or above at outstations.
