JFK-MXP

So looking for seats F or J on these flights, I'll be using AA miles what is the best way to look for seats? Dates are Sept 17th (give or take a couple of days) and return Sept 30th (give or take a couple of days.)

I search on their web page and find seats, do I just call AA and hope that the aagent see's the seats?

TIA

I don't believe AA are an Emirates partner. So, you won't be able to use AA miles to book flights.

Wrong forum section perhaps , you will not be able to use AA miles with EK. Unless EK became partners with them overnight ? :D

EK have the JFK-MXP flight though... I'm suspecting the OP has got their Emirates/Etihad airlines mixed up.

May be the OP believes that AA means "Alaska Airlines"...??

Could be a good guess re Alaska..... ?

We don't hear nearly as often about Alaskan awards as we used to here .... not since increased mileage requirements were introduced by EK a while back.

Could be, which would be strange considering they have "AA EXPLAT" in their profile. My guess is they meant to type AS

A bit rude, no? OP made an honest mistake, no need to make fun of Americans.
I also don't see how this had anything to do with being an American, anyone could have made the same mistake. Not everyone knows all the airline alliances, partnerships etc.

I think it isn't a stretch to expect an upper tier traveler to know the ins and outs of their 'home' program.

But yeah, maybe they got EY and EK mixed up.

If this is the sentiment out there I'm definitely sewing a Canadian flag to my backpack (ala the Bush years)
