Are you saying if Flex >0 Flex Plus should always be >0, too?

Yep - and even more irritatingly, for each individual sector on the same route - it's wide open apart from in this specific timing combination.

Depart on an earlier flight and you can buy in all classes, or connect to the later flight and it's the same.

Annoying.

Have noticed completely bizarre availabilities with EK on a number of occasions as well, including the example mentioned (availability of a loser booking class while the higher ones are 0). It is not just an EK website issue, but you will get the corresponding availability also on tools along the lines of expertflyer. I put it down to IT glitches (programming or perhaps update cycles), since I haven't come across this yet with the other carriers I fly, but maybe that is just a coincidence. Anyway, perhaps someone has some inside info and can comment.

That was similar to the other week when I was getting my flights changed. I checked online to see availability for the flights I was hoping my company were going to put me on. All economy flights showed as sold out yet less than 24 hours later and I had an economy flex ticket in my inbox.

Got my hopes up of a slim chance of an upgrade if they were all sold out.
