Information on Load requests
The number of seats for sale for a flight are available via ExpertFlyer.com, a subscription-based service with a 5-day free trial. A subscription is $9.99/month and can be enabled and disabled any time. It is encouraged to subscribe rather than post repeatedly in this thread.
NB: Op-up changes or overselling of a flight cannot be determined with certainty from this information, only inferred to be more or less probable.
For a once-off load request please follow these guidelines:
Flight loads >7 days out are not very useful, as the airline could still sell many seats, unless availability of a specific fare bucket (e.g. Business Saver upgrade) is requested. If you wish to know the general flight load please don't post >7 days before departure.
When requesting a load please provide the following information:
- Date of flight (departure date)
- Flight Number
- Origin
- Destination
These four fields are mandatory in searching on ExpertFlyer (see screenshot below) and it isn't fair to except those who pay for their subscriptions to also have to go look up which cities a specific flight number is from and to (also some flight numbers are onward flights (5th freedom routes, e.g. CMB-MLE) and loads will differ significantly depending on which sector of the flight is checked.

No, you are not.
They are selling at least 9 seats in Y, most likely a lot more as they are prepared to sell them as H bucket (I’m not sure if this is still Flex or already Saver but certainly a relatively cheap fare). And they will be offering email upgrades to J as well for both flights (these book into ‘P’ bucket)
Thank you for answering anyway.

Hi, was hoping you could help me interpret the expert flyer output for my flight tomorrow:
F0 A0 J0 C0 I0 O0 P0 Y0 E0 R0 W0 M0B0 U0 K0 H0 Q0 L0 T0 V0 X0
Does that mean there wont be a chance for op-ups (not necessarily for me, just curious)? Im assuming it's overbooked, so how is it handled? Also it seems it's still possible to buy a business or fist ticket for tomorrow, which is partly why i'm confused.
Additionally, the seat map shows full economy cabin but some free seats in business and first, does that mean it's just people that haven't checked in yet?
Thanks !

Can I get a check on EK22 on 7th May (MAN->DXB) please?
Also can you tell what aircraft is assigned to it? A newer A380 or 777 vs one of the really old ones might be the difference on whether I pay to upgrade or not.
(also, as a data point, £441 upgrade offer from Y to J with 3 days to go)

Morning!
Please can someone check the following for me?
Thu 10 May MAN/DXB EK18
Fri 11 May DXB/JNB EK671
Im J Saver, but may look to upgrade DXB/JNB as that's my 'sleep leg' and i know the 777 doesn't have full flat in J.
(MAN/DXB is just my party leg, obvs!)

Yes, sorry EK761. May have some luck on that one for F upgrade?
Looks like an empty flight first so that'll be fun.
Cheers

If you have enough miles, I guess an 'on board' upgrade would be your best bet (or ask in the lounge).
