Information on Load requests
The number of seats for sale for a flight are available via ExpertFlyer.com, a subscription-based service with a 5-day free trial. A subscription is $9.99/month and can be enabled and disabled any time. It is encouraged to subscribe rather than post repeatedly in this thread.
NB: Op-up changes or overselling of a flight cannot be determined with certainty from this information, only inferred to be more or less probable.
For a once-off load request please follow these guidelines:
Flight loads >7 days out are not very useful, as the airline could still sell many seats, unless availability of a specific fare bucket (e.g. Business Saver upgrade) is requested. If you wish to know the general flight load please don't post >7 days before departure.
When requesting a load please provide the following information:
- Date of flight (departure date)
- Flight Number
- Origin
- Destination
These four fields are mandatory in searching on ExpertFlyer (see screenshot below) and it isn't fair to except those who pay for their subscriptions to also have to go look up which cities a specific flight number is from and to (also some flight numbers are onward flights (5th freedom routes, e.g. CMB-MLE) and loads will differ significantly depending on which sector of the flight is checked.

The only later flight with F to BKK is 6 hours later. The difference between J and F is not worth sitting 6 hours in Dubai Airport for IMO.

'Just received an email offer for 263 SGD or 16900 miles (usually 26000). Is this miles upgrade still eligible for op-up?
EK349 on 25th. Flight at present is F4 A4 J7 C7 I7 O7 P4 Y0 E0 R0 W0 M0 B0 U0 K0 H0 Q0 L0 T0 V0 X0
Suggestions would be great, since the last couple of times I took the offers, I would have been eligible for op-up anyways. So don't know if I should just wait for that. Gold on Y Flex.
Thanks

Eligible in the sense, the CCU bound flights are not status heavy, and pax are 90% on saver tickets. Last few times there were 10 op-ups minimum and most without status on flex/saver tickets. Checked with gate agents, they were nice enough to tell me.

Well, presumably everyone has different reasons for going to CMB, but I'm Gold and always on Flex and don't always bag an op-up on India flights, though I do quite often. Either way, for 17k miles I'd be inclined to take it as it's one of the longer flights. BOM is only 19k miles to upgrade normally but that isn't worth it for just over 2hrs in the air IMHO

They are selling at least 9 seats in Y, most likely a lot more as they are prepared to sell them as H bucket (I’m not sure if this is still Flex or already Saver but certainly a relatively cheap fare). And they will be offering email upgrades to J as well for both flights (these book into ‘P’ bucket)
