We got the new ones the other day flying from KIX to DXB - very comfortable and yes apparently they contain Aloe Vera to moisturise as you wear them. The slippers are fur lined too which I don't think the old ones had?
Light grey top and darker grey bottoms.
They were so comfy we almost forget to change back out of them for landing - oops!

Do you get PJ's on the daily flights from DXB to Australia?

I know it says 'night flights' in the description on the website, but we are still talking 12+ hours on those flights yet they take off during the day does it still count as it eventually gets dark?!

I think it's the longer flights that get the pj's. I recently did CDG to DXB and no PJ's, shower yes no pj's. But who needs a shower on a short flight

Was that a day or night flight though?

Most of the morning DXB-OZ leave between 10:25 and 11:00 each morning, so do Emirates count that as a day flight even though it'll get dark 5/6 hours later?

Mine was a night flight, I was responding to edgewood's comment that longer flights get the PJs, to indicate its not exclusively longer flights. If they don't offer I'm sure you could request and the purser would try find a set.

All ULH routes such as US or Australia/NZ bound get PJ's and full amenities regardless of time of departure.

Will DXB-CPT not get PJ's because it's a day flight, and CPT-DXB will because it's over night with a 1am arrival or will both because of length?

Both - it's ULR.

I don't think ULR is the right term. It's 9 hours. AKL is 17, that's ULR. LAX is 16...

My mistake, I thought it was around 12hrs on the dot.

ULR for EK is 12hrs+ so I would expect a pair on the night flight and not one on the day sector. But perhaps they will have extra ones loaded just in case!

I flew Dubai - Cape Town on the 3rd of Jan and was given pyjamas and slippers. It was a 9 hour flight at 10.50am.
