This whole sorry episode as related by the OP (thanks for the story !) makes a good case for certain individuals being potentially placed on a 'lounge ban' list, in the same way that pax can be banned from flying.
The inebriated trouble-maker should have at least been a) warned that any subsequent trouble would result in police being notified and b) prevented from having access to further alcoholic drink. Sounds like neither of these things happened. |

He earned this special "enhanced" seating in the way-back of the plane through being cut off by the F/As and dipping into his duty-free bottles, and subsequently getting up in the face of the F/As after they told him to stop. |
