2017 Upgrade cost increase
 
I'm currently booking my 2017 travel and have noticed that the cost of upgrades (miles) has increased sharply.

Example:

Flex Y GLA - DXB to J: 39,000 (2014-16)
Flex Y GLA - DXB to J: 81,250 (2017)

Has this been raised already? It just seems like a bit of a steep increase.

Are you sure it's the same fare, 39.000 is economy Flex.

Just looked at a route I take regularly and nothing changed.

81,250 is the Flex Y to J upgrade cost for GLA - SYD or vice versa. Given your board name, might you have been looking at that?
