EK Skywards and Qantas (QF) Skywards questions
its I class And I am a blue EK member. WAW-DXB-MEL-AKL-SYD-DXB-WAW.
thanks in Advance |
Is the ticket coded QF or EK? And which class of travel?
If coded EK you earn according to EK Skywards zone earning (and Tier miles) If coded QF you earn according to the QF partner earning by distance flown: http://www.emirates.com/english/skyw...es/qantas.aspx Can't tell you exact amounts without knowing specific fare class of travel. |

If you have and it's a J saver then you'll get 30,628 tier miles. If it's a J special then 24,500. |

You'll only get tier miles if you book the EK coded flights.
1. QF-coded, EK-ticketed and EK-operated? 2. QF-coded, QF-ticketed and EK operated? 3. EK-coded, EK-ticketed and QF operated? 4. EK-coded, QF-ticketed and QF operated? I thought with the EK-QF partnership, you'll earn tier-miles for all the above scenario, except: QF-coded and QF-operated? |

What about
1. QF-coded, EK-ticketed and EK-operated? 2. QF-coded, QF-ticketed and EK operated? 3. EK-coded, EK-ticketed and QF operated? 4. EK-coded, QF-ticketed and QF operated? The partnership needs the code of the carrier you want to earn status on - RDM you'll earn with both in all 4 cases, depending on what's in the system (no double dipping!) |

Only scenarios 3 and 4. Similarly QF SCs on 1 and 2.

My ticket is QF-coded, QF-ticketed and EK operated.

Using skywards miles to upgrade an emirates operated flight with QF code.
Does anyone know if it is possible to upgrade from J to F using skywards miles with a ticket purchased with Qantas? I want to purchase the London to Dubai ticket with Qantas and therefore the flight has a QF code.
Thanks |
