Emirates Seat Massage

Just returned to Emirates after a two yr. absence. Noticed that the Massage feature is no longer on the A380 or B777 in J seats . The difference in J services between the two was evident. B777 J is definitely a better go go. Enjoyed the 777 more than the 380.

Was in 7K on the A380. An obnoxious brat discovered that pushing the "First Class" toilet flushing button beyond the curtain was his frequent highlight. To obviate, I stood in front of the toilet door when awake. I wondered what the First Class FAs were. ?????

That's not correct the massage function is still on the J seats on A380 flights, I recently did 4 flights and it was available on two of the flights but where not available it was on much older aircraft

Row 7 on A380

Currently booked in 7E and F on 380 flight from Dubai to Hong Kong night flight. Is the first class toilets a noise problem.

There is one toilet near seat 6G but not used much as most use the big shower spa one at the front.

I've sat in 7k and the annoying this is having to go all the way to the back to use the toilet. Can't say I've ever noticed a noise issue.

I regularly travel in 9E&F and that toilet is not an issue. I actually didn't even know there was a toilet there, until I just looked up the seat map. Yes m3red it is a long trek to the back, but it's good exercise and an excuse to visit the bar :-)

On the outbound/inbound, LGW/KUL A380/B777 the message feature was definitely not there. Not bothered as we don't use it.

The A380 toilet on the left after the curtain is a F toilet, in front of 7K. FAs let J pax use it. If the showers are in use, they lock it just in case a F pax needs it. The 7A and 7K are my favourites because of the private feel.

Let me explain my frustration on the inbound A380. Mama in 6D, little sister in 6G, Fidgit in 8D, Papa in 8G. Annoyingly he routed via the F galley, flushed the open door toilet, came through the curtain pinched his sleeping sister in 6G and nestled up to his Papa in 8G. His tos and fros accompanied by an open door toilet woosh was not funny. One or two fellow pax. did complain but but but.....My Jack Daniel journeys did compensate somewhat.

For what it's worth the massage function has been scrapped so it's only on older 777s and 380s

Just flew four flights on EK, all J-Business Class, two on an A380, and two on a 777. None of the four had any massage functions. On the first flight, when the FA found out it was my first time on an A380, she spent several minutes explaining all the various functions and amenities (very sweet young lady). I'm assuming the non-mention of a massage function was due to the lack of a massage function.

The first time I had to use the restroom (A380), I naturally walked forward, since I was sitting near the front of the first J cabin. When I pulled the curtain back, there were two FAs sitting there. When I explained I was looking for a bathroom, they pointed me towards the rear of the plane. Right next to them was a bathroom, so it didn't take a brain surgeon to figure out that must be a First Class only facility.
