Emirates iOS App - Seat Selection
 

Hi

Have 9 J&K booked but want to be on the port side of the bird. A shows booked on the website (B Open) but if I use the app both are open. Seeing this with a handful of other seats too.

Anyone see this before? Am I going to end up with 2 people assigned to the same seat if I change it in the app?

It looks like the mobile app is showing blocked seats as available. I tested and on ExpertFlyer the seat shows as blocked but in the Emirates app I was able to select and confirm it. There were other seats assigned and those showed as occupied on the app as well (and I obviously wasn't able to select those).

I think so, but I don't have a ton of experience with Emirates. My trip is next week so I can post back and let you know if the seat assignment "stuck".

you better do it on the homepage or call, the app (iphone and ipad) is a little bit ...errrr, like other EK IT things :D

this has been a known issue and ive always been able to book the seats on app which show as blocked on main website. never had any problems when checking in or been moved from those seats
