DXB/PRG - EK139/140 - Cancelled
 
Emirates showing today's EK139 Dubai to Prague's daily service has been cancelled, with that the knock on is EK140 is subject to cancellation.

Anyone know why?

A lot of rain in DXB causing major issues across the UAE.

loads of flights cancelled today, schools shut today and tomorrow and flooding...

the 2pm Jordan flight was cancelled too, unfortunatley tonights flight is still not full enough for any J to F upgrades for us.

Confusing post(s). Has this flight been cancelled for a day or two, or totally cancelled?

He did say today's EK139, so I think it's quite clear he means today's service to/from PRG, and it looks like EK won't send another plane to do EK140 - if they have to pay a boatload of EU261 compensation anyway, they might as well wait until the next day instead of sending an empty plane for an additional service.

Not confusing at all... and the previous posts actually gave a reason for the cancelation.

Okay... okay.

The part that was a bit confusing was the term "daily service has been cancelled" vs "today's flight". "Daily service" often refers to longer term schedule. Sorry.

And yes, it must be due to the rain.
