Emirates chauffeur question
 

I am being collected in West Yorkshire travelling to Manchester, I have had a problem today booking the car, even with the assistance of Emirates office in Manchester the booking still does not look correct.
If the driver fails to show on time who do I ring?
I have a number for Emirates but nothing for the chauffeur company.

The problem I have is that I would like collecting at 14:30 which they have done, however on the booking it shows we will be collected 20:30 hours before our flight, which of course it isn't. Am I worrying over nothing?

On a slightly different note the assistance by Emirates in Manchester was excellent.

when are you travelling?
generally speaking the chauffeur company will call you the day before the flight to confirm pickup time and location

I don't know about MAN, but in LHR, EK uses Tristar for Chauffeur and they text and call before just to confirm baggage pieces and timing.

Thank you again for your help and advice, my flight isn't for a week so we will await a call from the company.

I am sure I am worrying over nothing but it's my first long haul business class trip, has anyone ever had the situation where the chauffeur does not turn up at the airport to collect you?
Looking at my Emirates confirmation for chauffeur service, there are no details of the collection companies, or numbers to ring of they are not there in Sydney and Brisbane.

If you can't find your driver, just ask one of the other drivers. They hold a board with "Emirates" on it, so it should be obvious who they are.

If the worst happens and your car is not there, just take a taxi and claim it back from Emirates.

Give EK customer services a call (may be easiest in UK business hours) they will either be able to sort it out or give you the car company number. The EK website and App seem to have a particular problem with car bookings.
