The bottom line is that the chauffeur service is not operated by Emirates it is sub-contracted out.
A year ago a friend of mine was picked up in good time for a flight from LGW. Unfortunately, due to a major incident on the M25 (London Orbital Motorway) she was delayed by 4 hours and missed her flight and was classed as a no show. She had to pay the full price for a replacement ticket. When she tried to claim this back off from the chauffeur company she was shown the relevant T's & C's which absolved the company from liability in such a situation. Fortunately she had good travel insurance |

I've said it before and I'll say it again, the EK Grilled Chicken breast in Y is delicious!
Although presentation might be poor, the EK Y food is actually quite good. It's just that trying to eat is difficult because they pack that tiny tray with so much food... |

Wow... People actually keep a record of their chauffeur drive number plates!

Depending on the station and vendor I find there can be a huge difference in the quality/condition of the cars. Had one in BKK today which I could have easily bought for the cost of the transfer... ;)
However, have never really had an issue with any of the drivers. Only once did a driver not turn up (took Uber Black instead and was promptly reimbursed by EK) and that was because of a mistake by the dispatcher. |
