The Fast Track at transit security was manned...and the red cards were actually taken :eek:

Is this a sign of things to come? Not that it would make that much difference, considering there still needs to be an airport that has a "frequent fliers only" line, regardless of travel class, for security, which isn't filled with passengers who don't know what to do :D

Incidentally, the arrival video has changed again (how long ago?) - the transit video has a soundtrack that makes it sound a bit like low budget amateur porn and the Dubai section is a HIGHLY OVERWROUGHT CINEMATIC TRAILER OF SUSPENSE.

Also for the wine lovers, FCL A is serving a Vega Sicilia Unico 2000. If only they invested in the rest of the product rather than the wine :D If I come back next week and it's all gone, I'm blaming all of you, FT.

Lets hope it sticks and I finally get to use the red fast track card at transit security although from your advice before eternaltransit when I transferred from my last PEK flight, I was first through security (started the machines as I walked towards them) and was absolutely no need as the terminal was deadly quiet :D:D.

Vega Sicilia Unico!!! That is worth the price of the first class ticket....and my all time favorite wine.

I was through there a couple times this month and always saw people taking the cards. In fact, I don't recall ever seeing the lines not manned. Is this a thing now?

Its on and off that they man it - like most things its inconsistent!

One could even buy an el cheapo ticket to DXB and get a F ticket/award to MCT or some such :D
