Emirates Revamps It’s Premium Offering In First & Business Class

Referring to the post in the official news thread:

New Men's Bulgari amenity bags in F will now be made from 'faux' leather, the previous ones were made from 'finest' leather.

If using the emirates chaufeur drive service the company (Devines) will call you the day before to confirm pickup time. I always plan to arrive at 9pm for this 10:20pm departure. Thats plenty of time to drop off bags and having a couple of drinks in the lounge if you want to
Drinks in the lounge????? !!!!!!!!! Is that safe?????

Hah hah, I noticed that distinction too. If it's a downgrade, why explicitly mention it?

Someone in marketing/PR must have decided that leather is not cool anymore.

emirates can't upset the vegan's; they would, literally, never hear the end of it

Vegans then better stay away from F and the new headsets...

Myself and friend (2 males) recently travelled F on A380 and received different amenity kits. One was a small zip open bag style, and the other was the same style as business class - in that it folds into 3 and clips together. We didn't notice at the time so didn't query it. Is one of these the old style and one a new style? Seems a bit strange to get differing ones even though we were together

I've received both in the past 6 months, I think they're both current and EK just varies it randomly, but not 100% certain

There are eight different designs in F - four for men, four for women.

Anyone knows if amenity kits and PJs are given out on EK16 travelling in F? It lands at DXB after midnight so I'm not sure if that's enough to qualify it as a night flight.

It definitely isn't a night flight.

I've been given kits and PJs on EK16 - and you can always ask for them if they're not handed out before takeoff.
