Your post is a bit vague on that. But yes, a ‘normal’ miles upgrade gives the same lounge benefits as a paid ticket.

Bangkok Lounge Access QF SG + Guest?
2 of us will fly BKK to HKG in Y on a QF award ticked with EK flight number.
According to QF website it seems that I, the QF gold status pax, will have access but I'm wondering if I can invite 1 guest. Does anyone have any first hand experience in this situation?

Lounge access for Gold member guest in First
As a Gold member, if I fly in First out of Dubai, can I have a guest in the First class lounge if the guest fly only in Business class?

Lounge access question
If you fly Business or First to Dubai, then transit and leave DXB in Economy, do you have access to the Lounges in DXB? I got two opposing answers from staff at Dubai last week.
