should I be worried?

I have managed to get a first class ticket on May 8th from DXB-JFK on the A380 and am super excited about this experience. Today I received a notice that my flight time has changed. Seems the departure is the same, but arrives 25 min later. Only rationale that I can think of would be if the aircraft changed. If thats the case, I may rebook to a different time, but the EK website still says A380. Any thoughts?

You should not be worried at all - simply a note on the arrival time. This is generally only an issue for transit pax who have a tight connection made impossible by a time change - in this case EK will rebook alternatives for you or give you the option to cancel I think.

Airlines adjust flight times, all the time without change of equipment. I wouldn't be worried one bit.

Time change might be due to the shift of summer hour in the USA while Dubai doesn't have a time change. I guess all flights after mid-March will be affected...
Or it may be because the wind directions are expected to change in May... Any reason goes actually...
EK won't easily remove/change an A380 from their premium destinations
