When do you get an amenity kit?
 

Hi all,

flew CPH-DXB-BOM in C recently and did not get a kit.
It wasn't the end of the world:D but would have been a nice souvenir for a family member.
On what flights do EK hand out kits?

i believe it is only given out on night time departures, not sure what counts as 'night time' but ive had it on flights departing at 8pm

I asked this question to the cabin crew and they told me that amenity kits are provided only on night flights.

They stopped giving them out on the ULH daytime flights now then?

We received one last week DXB/BKK EK418 (09.05-18.05)
However,the flight continued as a night flight to SYD.
Made a bit of a mockery of handing out the amenity kits as those pax continuing to SYD had to carry off all their belongings,including the AK's, march 750yds to transit security and then a further 750yds back to await reboarding when the aircraft had been prepared for the next sector.
