What meals during flight

I'm overplanning again :)

Just trying to find out what meals will be served on my flights - I've tried looking on emirates.com, but couldn't find anything.

The flights are:
EK773 CPT to DXB 13:30 to 01:15
EK015 DXB to LGW 08:00 to 12:30
EK016 LGW to DXB 14:25 to 00:25
EK772 DXB to CPT 03:50 to 11:40

Enter details on right hand side, then another page will appear scroll down to "See the menu on your flight", another page opens then select your class

That's the one I looked at, but the 13:30 to 01:15 flight only shows the Lunch menu... if there's only one meal on that flight, I'd expect it to be dinner rather than lunch :D

It's lunch then light bites. Which means, on a 9hr flight, that about 2-3 hours in there will be lunch, then about 4-5 hours later you'll get a sandwich and a cake. Beverages are of course available on demand throughout the flight.

Still, for a flight leaving at 13:30, that seems odd. I guess it doesn't really matter what the name of the meal is, though :)

(Do light bites come in a gluten free version? Sandwich and cake is not going to help me much :))

If you request a special meal then the light bites will also be suitable for that dietary requirement.

There are a number of 'light bites', cold as well as hot.
Can you have them all (or at least more than one?).

I am on 773 and then 007 (in J): Lunch / Lightbites / Lounge (but only a 1:50 total stopover)/ Lightbites / Breakfast.

Light bites in J are like a small meal (size of the lunch main course), but in my experience it isn't taken up that much - I would mention your main choice, and then ask the crew if there are any left overs of your second/third choice (which there usually are).

Can anybody find out the menu for AMS-DXB (EK148) and DXB-AMS (EK 149) in Y?
I have found this but don't know if that's current for February.

Does anyone know when they put next month's menu up? I'm very curious to see what's going to be served on the flights i'm flying on.

New menus

Often not until the end of the previous month. Feb menus were released on the 28/29 Jan. Sometimes earlier.

They could have run out of the other option - sometimes it happens, especially if you are sitting near the back of a cabin.

I was sitting right behind Business Class. In my nxt flight I overheard conversation from staff that one of them is not even bothering to ask what PAX wants just handing it over, So I deliberetly asked and went for the second choice to piss her off as she just slaped a tray infront of me without even asking.

So did you in the end get the other choice?
