Love this website , watched my sisters Emirates flight leave UK and head off to Dubai on route back to NZ. this morning on my way to work, im idly drinking coffee and looking at Emirates flights which we will use , noticed one which should have arrived in Dubai said result unknown , how common is this , should have arrived hours ago? :confused:

It happens quite a lot in my experience - there are sometimes errors in the identification / progress data being collecdted by the flight tracker system. It seems to stuggle with delayed departures particularly - often suggesting the plane has been 'diverted' back to its origin when in fact it has continued it's planned journey albeit 1-2 hrs late.

I often find cross-checking with the airports or airlines own departure / arrivals information (through the relevant website) helps in this type of situation.

My husband always tracks my flights and finds that they often drop off tracking past Turkey
