Advice re March trip to Kerala
Hi,
I would love to ask one of the experts advice. I am booking a trip to India for early March and I have travelled several times by Emirates which I enjoyed. As part of my research I looked up the Kayak website and it would seem that the flights are significantly cheaper when booked that way - my question is if I was to book an Emirates J flight on a website such as Netflights or Kayak would I still be eligible for the chauffeur drive? Also just looking at alternatives Qatar and Etihad seem cheaper for their J flights to Cochin - would you recommend sticking with Emirates or should I transfer my 'allegiance' on this occasion? I have heard horror stories about being downgraded on Qatar and many of their transfer times don't leave much margin for delays; don't know much about Etihad at all. All advice very gratefully received. Thank you |
Yes to the chauffeur drive question.

I fly to COK at least once a year. AFAIK there is no EK chauffeur drive at COK.
I have also noticed that EK usually uses the oldest aircraft on their fleet for this region. ( old style J seats) I have'nt flown this sector since April so I don't know if the situation is better now. |
Thank you for that I am just trying to work out who to go with. Re Chauffeur Drive I am just really looking for cars from Home to the Airport and then from the LHR to home at the end of the trip

FlyerTalk doesn't permit cross-posting the same question across multiple fora. We've deleted the same question in other fora where no replies have been posted, and we'll leave this thread open here.
I still recommend going back to the fora you have posted in originally to read existing threads regarding those airlines and their offerings, and asking specific questions about a particular aircraft, service, etc. that relates. Thank you for your understanding. JDiver Senior Moderator Note: You may find some online travel sellers more economical than some airlines' sites, but of course be aware that then that online seller becomes your agent. In many irregular operations, missed connections and the like this makes your agent responsible for the ticket and adds a layer between consumer and airline that may not be in your favour. |
Who would you recommend I travel with Emirates, Qatar or Etihad? Thank you very much
