Time to move
Right,
After 10 years in the sandpit, it is time to move. (drying my tears). Moving from DXB to Washington. Heres the question operating out of Washington i will fly enough to keep a gold membership with EK 3/4 DXB return flights (sniff bye bye PLAT) but such is life. Now what airline or alliance should i join. Very frequent flying in the USA and a monthly flight Europe or Asia or Australia. Please help. |
The logical starting position would surely be to look at which airport in Washington is most conveniant and where most travel will be to and find the airline that best is going to meet your travel needs in the easiest manner
Once that has been done, then would be the best time to figure what programme will be best suited based on benefits and earnings to redemptions value For someone frequently travelling in 1st and/or business class paid travel , the most valuable scheme may be different to someone travelling in economy For domestic US travel, Washington is a United hub , so would likely be very good choice for that plus Star has decent options to Europe from there too Other US carriers are , I suspect, much more likely to require connecting flights for domestic travel than UA will |
What do you want from a ffp?
Will there be a corporate travel policy that limits your choice of airlines? http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/infor...help-here.html Star Alliance forum http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/star-...post-here.html OneWorld Alliance forum http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/onewo...help-here.html Skyteam Alliance forum http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/skyte...i-sign-up.html |
