Good god.

Just when I thought ACSA (Airport Company South Africa) was trying to save itself. Should they ban EK, DUR airport is going to become a white elephant. There will be 0 international flights (only short ones like MRU).

I hope that this is not implicated, as I have flights booked in a month...

I guess this is why airlines don't like flying to SA.

Should they have built the new, inconvenient, expensive, controversial, Durban airport regardless of EMIRATES ?

Good point. You'd think that they would at least try to save it now though.

Thank the lord.

All is good now: http://www.citypress.co.za/business/...-flights-dept/

Looks like the 4th daily to JNB is still on as well.

The article is confusing and/or poorly written. Is the issue about a fourth Durban - Johannesburg flight, or a fourth Dubai - Johannesburg flight?

It is a fourth daily to JNB. There are many errors in the article.
