Is DXB/DBX the IATA code most mistaken on FT?
It's the weekend, I am avoiding work and the inner obsessive is rearing his ugly head...
Any other airports out there that people mistake the codes for so much that even Google says that "DBX" is Dubai International...? And has anyone ever ended up in the wrong place because of the wrong booking code....? There are some horror stories on various boards I think of people who have done that, but any FTers willing to own up?
Mods: if this is the wrong place...please move...!

A staff member working at one of the travel agencies I go to told me that my flight connects in "Orlando" as opposed to "Chicago"!
She thought ORD was the code or Orlando when in fact it was for Chicago O'Hare.

We've heard some stories about destination mistakes made by travel agents. But it was more like same city, different country (like Paris-TX instead of Paris-France), and not IATA code mistakes.
Baggage tag mistakes should be rare now, as they are printed from PNR.
Otherwise, other mistakes concern date/time.
For example : forgetting to add one day for a flight departing 00:10, or forgetting to subtract one day (departure) for a flight arriving +1.

It's not just FT. When booking an award flight back to DUB (TK miles, LH metal) I was told there was no flight at the time I had found and no availability on any other flight that would get me there in time. Indeed there were no seats to DXB, the next call center agent confirmed that my preferred flight to DUB was available.
