Hi FlyerTalk members. I need advice

My Emirates flight, in J class, will arrive in Kuala Lumpur around 8.50 AM.
An Indonesian friend will arrive in same airport around 11.00 AM, different airline.

I know that I can book chauffeur service in advance.
Is it possible to ask Emirates so that the driver can come to airport few hours after my arrival, for example 12.30 PM?

Can I bring my friend with me?

Thank you.

The driver doesn't come to the airport, most of the time he's usually waiting outside the arrivals area.

If you're willing to wait till at least 11:30 AM (considering immigration and baggage claim will take some time), I guess there shouldn't be a problem.
You can just go to the desk and ask them if you can (there's no restrictions on bringing someone with you, as far as I know at least) and tell them you'll be waiting for a while for your friend. They shouldn't have a problem with it.

So to sum it all up, I guess you can bring your friend.

I once took a relative (who was travelling in Y) with me (in J) from DXB. We both arrived at DXB travelling EK, except he was coming from DOH and I was coming from ISB, we both went in the same car. No questions asked.

If I haven't answered your question the way you wanted, you can wait for some more experienced and senior FT members to respond.

Within 60-mile radius from Los Angeles International Airport. The mileage limit cannot be exceeded.

Driver was in hurry, drove around 140 even in 80 limit zones on the freeway including a few close encounters with other vehicles not much better than a taxi but certainly fast

I also noticed other passengers having BMW 5er, same cars for F

Class of Service: J
Car Service: Mercedes C-Class.

Talked to the driver, and Emirates apparently has a contract with a local car-service provider, who specially maintains a fleet of cars for Emirates. The car that I was on had Emirates logo, and the word 'Emirates' written on it, on the back window of the car!

You only had a crazy driver in DXB...once?!

To add to your list: LGW in J - Mercedes Viano Van on arrival, as baggage manifest at the chauffeur desk showed 4x105...
No advance request made for that vehicle. I think I would have got a E-class otherwise.
