The chauffeur company can take payment via phone or you can pay the driver cash/card. In Glasgow the card payments in car are done via the drivers ipad.

can anyone confirm if you can request a specific car ....? as i would LOVE a Merc S class ( EK F LHR )

You can request it. You might not get it!

The usually honored requests are for things like Viano MPVs when you have a lot of luggage/pax.

Vianos are sometimes used for moaners etc, unless of course they are first class in which case they ain't allowed unless specifically requested.
