The B777-300ER tipically flies at M0.84 at cruise which is above the critical mach number and that means flying at M0.84 leads to M>1.0 at certain points of the wing due to the shape of the airfoil which accelerates the air. So yes there are shock waves of course, but i do not know if 40 A is a good shock wave observatory :lolz (no nerd)

This thread is comedy.

I hope it is a wind up for an EK pax on that route in Y!

Im confused, is OP in Y or J (from his other post about his Mother in law)?
But more importantly- lolz

Where's the comedy section in this forum?

Anyway, what's the deal of having a lot of (or any) alcohol on board? Just sit back, watch a movie, have a good meal, drink a soda, watch the landscape and the wings (yes I'm also an enthusiast, not an aircraft eng. though) and enjoy the rest of the flight.

This is almost as funny as the OP.

From lounge to onboard to transit lounge to onboard again, a trip can be one big party if you try hard enough.

Copious amounts of drink help you appreciate all these other things.

So guys, i am counting down the days to my first emirates/long haul experience. I picked left side seats so i could see balkans and istanbul from the air.. But now my MAD-DXB is likely to route south mediterranean, so i dont know if it is better to switch to right side so i can see Cairo, pyramids and that old stuff.. However if i keep in the left side i may see jerusalem and jordan river.. I am about to flip a coin unless anyone puts some light in this issue. After that on my DXB-PEK i am still not sure of which sidr pick. I would like to see K2 mountain and tehrain..

Back to the main topic, please tell me if there is vodka for free in Y class

Thanx nd lolz :D

YuropFlyer Aug 12, 2014 3:31 pm

It's very concerning that I'm 19 and you're older than me yet you come across as a 13 year old. If you are even half as bizarre on your flight as you are on here, your seat mate is going to be extremely irritated.

Do not incessantly ask the cabin crew for alcohol whilst also acting immature. You may end up receiving attention in a negative way.

Uzair - your points are well-made.

Although the more the OP posts, the more doubts I have that he is actually travelling........
