Fast Track passes in DXB
 

Have these recently changed?

I've just been given one that is a red colour and smaller than those I've seen before. They refer to Plat members, which wasn't on the old one, but apart from that the text is roughly the same.

I've got a few of the older gold/brown ones I was keeping as spares and would hate to think they were no use any more.

The fast track passes are great for entering Dubai. However I have not seen the point of using it on transit security . I don't know why its on the pass if it's not used.

Do the new forms have it as well.


( I also have approx 10 of the fast track forms . will all have to go into the rubbish bin then.:(

They started to appear a few months ago as old stock of the gold/brown ones ran out. You can still use the old ones though.

They are now red and much smaller.

I use egate so can't comment on whether they would accept the old ones or not.

You may have noticed the slightly different y j and f luggage tags too. The j priority tag is a different shade of blue ( a little lighter).

Exactly. Since I only transit Dubai, I don't even take them when they hand it out in the a/c.

The two times I've entered DXB this year (for Dubai Connect), I noticed that the person didn't even bother to check the Fast Track card and just put me the queue for Fast Track. Unfortunately, only 1 counter from the 3 was operational so it was a 25 minute wait to the head of the queue.

Yes the older cards are still working. I do give them to friends, because I use the e gate channel.

These are a waste for transit passengers, nobody bothers to enforce the lane discipline.

I get them everytime in J or Y but have never used them because the first and business line at security is always closed and even if its open, nobody checks what class you are travelling. I usually just cut the Y line at the very front .. :D

Today a friend told me the old one was not accepted anymore. :-) Only the red ones are eligible for fasttrack.
