Emirates business class food Lon to dxb

Hi guys

Random question...

Do you always get a veggie starter and main option on the inflight menu in business between London and Dubai and back?

The mrs is veggie but normally when you order the special meals they are just weird!

Thanks

I'd order the Veggie options. You don't always get a veggie option.

With the correct links:
http://www.emirates.com/ae/english/f...ng/dining.aspx

http://www.emirates.com/ae/english/f...ight-wine.aspx

Direct link to Business Class menu:

As you can note from the sample menu posted, there is no vegetarian main course for lunch so you definitely do want to pre-order in case you have strict dietary restrictions.

Isn't the arabic mezze appetizer always an option ex-DXB? (it sure seems like it)

There is usually a soup offered too.

But for anyone relying on what's listed in the links, do be aware of the small print ........

And that the first 3 items in the main course for Lunch in the F menu are actually the same as the J Menu on the A380 to JFK...

Have never flown Etihad, but is it not the case that you can send them a note of your favourite dish ahead of travel day, and the 'on-board chef' will prepare it for you .....??

Maybe EK need something different to freshen things up a bit. How about a blackboard with 'Today's Specials' written in chalk, pub-style

Thanks for the links and advice.

If I order a veg meal will the mrs still get the same starters and desserts as the normal service?

I notice in 1st you get tortellini as an option which would be fine!

Surprised emirates doesn't have a standard veg as a main.

Which end does the business class food service start out of interest? Is it best to sit at the front of business or at the back?
