Emirates LAX to Dubai on A380

Will be travelling to Dubai from LAX on EK216 flight aboard A380.
Has anyone travelled this flight? What can I expect in economy class?

You can expect to be served dinner + snack + breakfast on that sector (one of the longest on the Emirates network at almost 16 hours).

You can read more about the A380 economy class offerings/facilities on their official website here
http://www.emirates.com/uk/english/f...5a341b43bf09a9

You might want to check out past threads re best choice of seat for your flight. I'm not best placed to advise you on that part of the aircraft.

Have a good trip ^

Are sore back?

Call me spoilt but I'd rather not fly this than fly it in y. That or I'd break it up via the uk.

I'd say with the upguage to A380 from the 777, its not that bad. The 777 was really cramped and I used to take a connection from JFK. Enough food and drinks to keep you happy even in Y....

I did this last weekend, in fact this time last Saturday I was still in the air - it's a long long trip in Y, luckily I managed to get an exit seat so I could stretch my legs.

With regards as to what to expect, as said above, this: "You can expect to be served dinner + snack + breakfast on that sector". The snack/lite bite was a pizza in a box - not too bad, I had a couple.

There are snacks available in the galleys; fruit (apples, bananas), chocolate bars and bags of crisps.

Sounds like you had a decent enough trip.

And now it's over, just think of the thousands of dollars you have saved by going Y ......!

Only thing working against you is that the flight is mid week so loads may not be heavy but this is summer, so you never know. All the best..

They typically are. Only other thing to consider is that J might sell out before Y but usually not in the summer...
