We are flying Emirates from FRA to DXB on tuesday in Business, our connecting flight (also Emirates) is in coach, will we be able to visit the Business class lounge in Dubai? I heard of people arriving first class in FRA and visiting the First Class lounge there, even when they did not have a F ticket leaving FRA (but this is LH).

Sadly not.
Lounge access with Emirates is based entirely on departing flight class, and your arrival flight is irrelevant. The lounge custodians in DXB are very aware of the rules. But I'm assuming you don't actually have any Skywards status with EK .....? |

Their are paid lounges you can use - click on Marhaba Services in Manage a Booking. |

At least from my experience, gold status doesn't seem to matter if arriving in F and departing in J regarding F lounge access at DXB. I'm gold and not knowing the rules at the time, tried just that. The lounge attendant told me that they only allowed F lounge access if you are departing in F.
Guesting: F pax or Plats are allowed 1 guest (and 2 kids) into the FCL. Golds are allowed 1 guest into the J lounge (not sure about J pax without status). |
