Why no socks in F?

Just completed 6 sectors in F in suites and noticed that EK doesn't provide socks with the F amenity kit + pajama + slippers + eye shades. Why do they miss out on socks in F when they actually do provide socks in Y? Would really help reduce the stinking feet/ sneaker smell and pax who like to keep bare feet on top of table in front of the ICE screen....

Well that's 6 sectors on which you could have made your views known to the Purser and/or on a comments/survey form or even an email to EK HQ. (maybe you did just that ....?? )

And as a Plat member, your opinions should carry (one would hope !) a bit of weight.

In the meantime, I'm sure any keen-to-please Purser would gladly bring you a pair from the Y cabin.

ps .... just as an after-thought ...... do some pax really find it comfortable to put their feet on the table in front of the ice screen ...?

Strikes me as an odd angle at which to position one's feet, and far less 'natural' than resting them on the actual leg-rest of the seat, with the various range of adjustments which that offers.

But maybe that's just me .......

I don't find it comfortable either, but I've seen people do it too...

I didn't need them, but the person in the next suite did....

It definitely wasn't me ... honest !

In all seriousness, I too would have found that most unpleasant.

But I also happen to think that anyone with such distasteful & selfish habits would be unlikely to bother using socks, even if provided......

(Note to self ahead of next flight : give the table a good wipe-down before using it for any food or drink ......)

Now that's a good piece of advice...

Agree ..... Socks are a must have!!!

I just request the FA to get me a pair of socks from another cabin. Btw, the slippers don't fit most people - so they aren't a sub for socks even to walk around the cabin.

I always ask for socks and they get them from the business cabin. The slippers are a bit tight for me but my wife likes them so I take them home.

Same here, for some reason the missus loves those slippers.

Are you sure you are getting the right size? I thought they come in different sizes. I'm UK size 11 and they are loose.

The ones I was given on a recent trip seemed fine and 'fit for purpose', but since the logo'd bag they came in says "Large" I can only assume that there are indeed different sizes available if required.

"The Complex World of Emirates First Class Slippers"

A three-part documentary beginning next week on National Geographic ......
