J Lounge Concourse A
I recall in the past reading some very negative comments about Emirates' business class lounges in concourses B and C. I am keen to know what the lounge in concourse A is like. I would be grateful for any observations on this, particularly from those who have made multiple visits.
I would be interested in looking around the lounge for myself. My next transit at DXB will be as an F passenger. Does anyone know if I would experience problems accessing the business class lounge for this purpose but presenting an F boarding pass at the entrance? Thank you, in advance, for your help. |

Most of the complaints I recall were due to overcrowding of the lounges. These were prior to Concourse A opening and the situation has greratly improved with this extra capacity now being available.

Dubai J lounges are much better after the A concourse has opened. The only downside is that the new bars are not self serve.;)
|
They have also renovated parts of the B concourse J lounge which as returned some additional capacity.
People tend to crowd the front part of the B concourse lounge. If you walk towards the back, there is always plenty of room (and additional food and bev stations). |

Visits of the B lounge can be done when you got a bus, as their damn bus gate is at the C gates, so the biz lounge is a calm route to the FCL...

I fly through concourse A quite often and can testify the lounge is significantly better, I'm actually always disappointed if I'm in B or C. Decor is much improved, almost no overcrowding. My favourite part, for those who care, is the smoking lounge as it has a real cigar bar feel to it and doesn't stink at all. The real highlight of concourse A is the Shake Shack burger restaurant. For those who haven't tried, its easily one of the best burgers and milkshake I've had.

I've only been once, and it's very nice. It was very quiet (from around midday until 14:00).
All the gates (I think) board from the lounge. This can be a bit of a problem, as there can be a queue to get to the lift to take you down to the upper deck (if you know what I mean). They also serve hot dogs :) |
Many thanks for your responses.
Much appreciated! |

My understanding is that this is also a problem for passengers in the First lounge, which is positioned between the Business lounge and boarding level, in the sense that lifts can be full by the time they reach the First lounge level.

Do they serve fries? |
Agree Shake Shack burger is awesome! It is located in concourse A not in the lounge though.
