can anyone fly on EK regardless of nationality or sexual preference?
can anyone fly on Emirates regardless of nationality or sexual preference?
For example, a citizen of Israel normally can't fly on Emirates because of the political situation between Israel and most Arab states. So I assume Emirates will not allow passengers to check-in with an Israeli passport. Will they also deny check-in to male or female passengers who are openly gay?(by the way they are dressed or public display of affection for each other... such as two men or two women holding hands while standing at the check-in counter or on the plane?) My question is strictly limited to the airline's regulation or policy, either official or not, so please keep this in mind. I'm not looking for a political debate. |

I don't think anyone, whether in Dubai or elsewhere, will walk up to the check-in agent and out of no where inform them of their sexual orientation. Also, I don't think the check-in agent will ask of this if they have their 'doubts'. So I don't think it should be a problem. PDA is kind of rare during check-in, at least that's what I've noticed in my years of traveling.

There is no issue for a gay Jew to fly Emirates if that's what your query is. As mentioned, the only issue would be if an Israeli passport holder regardless of sexuality approached the Dubai Immigration for entry into the country. Just take a look around Dubai, plenty of gay tourists and residents to be seen. Just reserved in their PDA's.
