Single PNR for two passengers with different itineraries?

Hi all,

I am guessing the answer is no, but can two PNRs be linked together for two passengers who are departing from different airports? eg. europe to nz, where only the first leg differs (say from UK vs from Italy) - all other flights are the same. Is it possible to have a single PNR in this case?

Many thanks

I very much doubt it and why would you want to?

No, all flights must be identical.

Yeah probably won't save you. Might be able to put a note on the booking though.

Yep, you were right - two PNRs but they've kindly attached a note to say we are travelling together for all intents and purposes.

And apparently the note must have worked: We were both upgraded on the Brisbane-Auckland leg with seats together :)

Nice!

How did you get them to put a note on the PNR? Did you just call?

Good to know that this works on EK. On other airlines like DL, BA the chances of its working wound be close to zero IME.
